We understand that how quickly and efficiently we can respond to the requests of the Project Manager to help overcome the obstacles that inevitably rise during construction will have a large impact on the schedule, budget and overall success of the project. Our performance on previous projects has proven that we provide a flexible and highly responsive level of service during the design and construction phases of the projects we serve on.

Descriptive Examples of Relevant Experience

CLEARY CONSULTANTS, INC. is currently providing geotechnical services for the Foothill De Anza Community College District on their Measure C Bond projects.  Since 1989, we have served as geotechnical engineer for the District, culminating with the Measure E Construction Program in 1999 and Measure C in 2006.  This work has included geotechnical studies for more than 75 projects.  Close coordination is maintained with the Districts CM firm and lead architect in evaluating proposed building locations prior to final selection; as part of this work, we performed a detailed geological investigation on the Foothill Campus for the location of the Monta Vista fault within the school property.  We also provided the necessary geological and geotechnical input for the Foothill College Facilities Master Plan and EIR.

We have also served as the geotechnical consultant for the Santa Cruz City School District; the Measure B bond improvements at Los Gatos and Saratoga High Schools; renovation and expansion of approximately 20 schools of the Cupertino Union School District; the school modernization program for eight schools of the Los Altos School District; and the facilities modernization and expansion programs of the Eastside Union High School District and the San Jose Unified School District.  Our firm also provided a full range of geotechnical services during the site selection, geologic hazard evaluation, design and construction of the Angelo Rodriguez High School in Cordelia, Solano County.

Experience with Division of the State Architect

CLEARY CONSULTANTS, INC. has extensive experience with DSA, having successfully submitted over 400 projects since the mid 1980's. We are experienced in meeting the requirements of DSA and the California Geological Survey (CGS) which performs the review of geohazard reports.

We have met with and had regular communication with CGS staff members.  In the past, this familiarity with their requirements, preferences, and personnel has helped us to work closely with DSA and CGS to assist our clients in making several difficult projects successfully meet DSA requirements.
